In an age of skyrocketing healthcare costs what is the alternative? More diluted insurance plans?, higher deductibles?, and while the rich and poor are taken care of it is the middle class who are hit with the catastrophic health costs. Perhaps we need to rethink this idea of Mitt as a bad representative of conservative cause and look at him as a fair compromiser. The polarization of a Tea Party mandate isn’t going to help things now. Perhaps Mitt as a unifier of national interest is in our best interest. Which road are we chooosing and whose road is it? As in the past, which by the way is supposed to teach us a few things. We have had to choose between White and Black supremacy, Vietnam and Cambodia, Bushwackers and Jayhawkers, China and Russia, and now the Left and Right. All not very good choices in and of themselves. Sometimes a step back is necessary for two steps forward. And so it goes with the great experiment we call America. Always shifting in the middle ground with the two extremes constantly battling each other. The only question that remains is Does Mitt know where to draw the line? I think he is a man of character, a man who heeds divine justice as well as any of the candidates. Is he perfect? of course not but think of the alternatives of more deadlock and continuation of our current situation. You get the sense that MSM doesn’t trust Mitt, the conservative talking heads don’t like him, The left doesn’t like him, even alternative media don’t like him. Hmmm, maybe because he’s not solidly under thier thumb as they would like and they are all a little wary. Here’s a campaign slogan for Mitt: “A Step in the Right Direction” .
