According to CNN today, some families are not waiting to see if the Arizona Immigration Law will be going into effect next week. Losing jobs, losing businesses recently has led to uprooting families even though some members may be native born Americans. Deportation is an act by the government to remove illegal aliens from a country. This is a relocation of illegal aliens since many aren’t going far, they are simply moving to another state or to sanctuary cities. One thing that the mass media misses is that “self-deportation” is not solely the result of the Arizona law as much as it is a result of a sour U.S. economy and increased Federal prosecution of illegal aliens. This is not a new phenomena since relocation of illegal aliens has been going on since 2007, and even if they return to their country of origin, many families are seeking dual citizenship for their U.S. born children.
