Obama was supposed to be competent. He was suppose to usher in a new era of smart government – and just 20 days before the worst oil spill in U.S. history, he gave offshore drilling his blessing. Oops. Obama says he didn’t say ‘drill baby drill’ — as if that works to absolves him of any blame — BUT he seems to forget he declared the rigs safe.

Referring to BP’s response to the oil spill, he said nothing happens without the Federal government being fully informed and asserted he is in charge of the cleanup. However, he was one of the last persons to know about the firing/resignation of a key player. According to his schedule, he was busy… with the Duke basketball team.
