in Free to Choose, Milton Friedman

Born July 31, 1912, in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The legendary PBS TV series “Free to Choose” (1980) by Nobel Prize-winning economist Milton Friedman is now available. The series lays out a systematic argument for free markets, the tyranny of controls and the benefits of voluntary exchange.

Over 25 years ago, Mr. Friedman wrote of the perils of unfunded social security obligations and entitlements, the horrid state of public education and the dangers of ‘equality’ (socialists will push for the equality of outcome as opposed to equality of opportunity).

In an era marked by the encroachment of personal freedoms by the Federal government, Mr. Friedman warns of the deplorable results by citing historical example after historical example.

This is a 10-part series, volumes 1-5 were updated in 1990. Please watch all these important videos by following the links below.

“I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to call Milton Friedman’s Free to Choose a survival kit for you, for our nation, and for freedom. ” -Ronald Reagan

Thank you for these important videos. Everyone should watch them because they give an intellectual basis for the conservative principles we fight so hard to preserve.
