8:28 PM – Internal exit polls showing very good signs for Christie in NJ, most importantly Christie is running very strong with independents.

Indies are breaking overwhelmingly for Christie, and this could spell trouble for Democrat Corzine. It stands to note that the Democrats have a very strong coalition in Jersey, so the sway of indie voters may not influence the as strong as it did in Virginia.

However, CNN exit polls suggest that most voters - 38 percent – “said the quality they were looking for most in a candidate was the ability to bring change and most of them said they had voted for the Republican candidate.”

Another round of exits likely to come in soon. Stay tuned…
