Alert  Election-Eve Latest Poll Analysis–McCain Can Win This if We Show Up in Force–See How…
Feel free to copy and paste this article in your email and forward to friends:

Looks like the liberal media is ignoring the facts again so it’s up to us to get the word out - please forward to everyone you know - too much is at stake.

Fact 1: The economic problems were caused by too much government and lack of regulation once the government entered the private market

The government created Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and they were required to meet certain obligations in the housing market.   In 1995, the U.S. Department of Urban Development started to give “credit” to Freddie and Fannie for purchasing mortgage backed securities to low income borrowers.  In 1996 the government required Freddie and Fannie to provide at least 42% of their mortgage financing to borrowers below the median income and the only way to do this was erode loan standards. In essence, these government programs contaminated the market because:

a) Government in the market, willing to purchase loans no other banks would touch, created a market for low-income loans that never existed.
b) Other banks started to accept more low-income applicants because they could unload certain mortgage backed securities on the government.
c) Other banks also saw a need to offer no-documentation in order to compete with the government in the market.

The point is this: Yes, we needed more regulation in the housing crisis because companies can get greedy and milk the government. But we usually only need more regulation if government creates an unnatural market.

In the housing crisis and now economic crisis, the banks were greedy and saw an opportunity they would have never went after had the government decided to not intervene.

McCain saw the dangers of Freddie and Fannie and wrote a letter for more regulation:

But the Democrats, in control of the house, did nothing.

Fact 2: The American dream is not dead.

We have more self-made millionaires in this county than ever before. We have more low-income students graduating from the top colleges than ever before and we are still the nation people want to come to for a fresh start and chance at success.

People think the American Dream is dead because more and more people choose to believe in government and not themselves.  More and more people are believing in a good speech or orator to bring about change in their life than the agent most likely to accomplish change: themselves.

People who believe in themselves are always more successful than people who believe it is a politician’s job to secure their family’s future or economic status.

If anyone tells you the American Dream is dead, they are saying you are helpless.

If anyone tells you the American Dream is dead, without their help, and you believe them, then you may never find true success in your life because it is YOU not “WE” THE GOVERNMENT that can make the quickest difference in your life.

Fact 3: History is Not Kind to Countries that Elect Charismatic Leaders in the Face of Crisis for Many Reasons

For one, the charismatic leader only maintains his power while the crisis lasts. As soon as the crisis ends, people have no need for him or her.

This is why history has shown, among other points, that charismatic leaders have it in their best interest to perpetrate the crisis to stay in power.

While it is not always wrong to elect a charismatic leader in a time of crisis, charisma is very dangerous because it may hide the Politician’s natural abilities, accomplishments or leanings.

Con artists have charisma, but have no abilities to deliver upon their promises; they just con people into believing they do.

In a time of crisis you must use your logic, put charisma aside and look at their accomplishments.

Many people voting for Barack Obama have some feeling he is not the right choice.  The feeling that Obama may not be right choice is because his campaign is based on charisma, good speeches and excellent marketing.  Most have never made a decision like this before: A decision simply based on feelings. Most use both logic and feelings.

Barack Obama has no accomplishments. As senator, he missed more votes than 96 of the 100 U.S. Senators and has very little experience. But he can give a good speech.

Fact 4: We Cannot Afford to Give $800+ Billion to Other Countries While in an Economic Crisis

While we are suffering the worst economic crisis since the great depression, Obama continues to push his legislation to send over $800 Billion of America’s tax dollars to other countries to fight poverty.

None of this money stays to help poverty in America.

Research for yourself: Global Poverty Act of 2007 (S. 2433).

The fact is: It is not whether this bill is a good idea or not. The fact is we cannot afford it. We need to first get out of our economic mess before we can even consider giving $800 Billion to other countries. If we cannot help our own economy, we will noto be able to help any country. This just wrong for our economy because it’s not the place or the time for bills like this.

Fact 5: Obama and Biden Feel the Need for a Draft

On June 12, Joe Biden injected the idea of a military draft on NBC’s Meet the Press.

The United States will “have to face” a painful dilemma on restoring the military draft as rising casualties result in persistent shortfalls in US army recruitment, a top US senator warned. Joseph Biden, the top Democrat of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, made the prediction after new data released by the Pentagon showed the US Army failing to meet its recruitment targets for four straight months.

“We’re going to have to face that question,” Biden said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” television show when asked if it was realistic to expect restoration of the draft. “The truth of the matter is, it is going to become a subject, if, in fact, there’s a 40 percent shortfall in recruitment. It’s just a reality,” he said.

More recently, last month, at the Service Nation Presidential Forum at Columbia University, Obama said concerning the draft:

But it’s also important that a president speaks to military service as an obligation not just of some, but of many. You know, I traveled, obviously, a lot over the last 19 months. And if you go to small towns, throughout the Midwest or the Southwest or the South, every town has tons of young people who are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. That’s not always the case in other parts of the country, in more urban centers. And I think it’s important for the president to say, this is an important obligation. If we are going into war, then all of us go, not just some.

This is scary considering Biden said the world is guaranteed to test Obama with a generated attack in the first six months of the Obama administration (Colin Powell and Madeline Albright agree because he represents a change in military policy and they would like to know how he reacts).  This attack would require us to send additional troops and military resources. Biden said, to democrat donors, that Obama would have to make “hugely unpopular” decisions that will require “huge sacrifices” with people saying “whoa, wait a minute, yo, whoa, whoa, I don’t know about that decision.”

This speech was leaked to the press and it leaves more questions than answers.

Even Hillary’s supporters think Biden’s leaked speech suggest a draft by Obama/Biden. This is imminent:

On MTV he said he supports a draft (draft part is in the middle of this video):

The obsession with Obama and the fear he may actually win, is driving you and die-hard Republicans nuts, right? I am Republican and I will vote for Obama come this election because the alternative is a mad-house of the McPalin duo who are loaded with corruption, practices, hypocrisy and plain ignorance.

I did laugh though at reason 4: So it’s OK to give Israel $4.3 billion a year (at least that is what we admit to) but you worry about $800 M to help the needy?

ATW

One of “your reasons” is really laughable.
